Question Linux Access Point using Prism based adapter

I have a problem in finding a wireless network card which uses the Prism 2, 2.5 or 3 chipset. I need to build an access point on linux as part of a project I'm currently doing. Unfortunately many manufacturers which I have contacted are not using the Prism chipset anymore. Is there anyone who knows which manufacturers still use the Prism chipset and if possible the model of any PCMCIA or PCI adapters?

Does anyone knows if there is any other wireless adapters using other chipsets which can be used to build a Linux based access point? Thanks.

I have a 3Com 3CRWE154G72 Version 1 PCMCIA card. It works wery well with the prism54 driver (haven't tested it as AP). There is a version 2 of this card, and I don't think they sell V1 anymore. When I last tested, the V2 card did not work, but 5 months have past since that.

This card does not have the prism-chipsets you asked for, but I hope it helps anyway ;-)

SMC 2532B-W is still around. Prism2.5, 200mw and has external antenna connections behind a removable antenna. ZyXEL B-101 - same OEM and design. 100mw. ZyXEL B-100. 100mw, Prism3. No external jacks.

You can order one form Mikrotik:

It takes about a week to ship from Latvia, or try Pheenet: if they still make it.
