If your ISP is a DHCP setup, put your router configuration to obtain an IP automattically,
then in redhat, type setup at the terminal or in a shell, go to network, and select DHCP/BootP
then reboot the computer.
when the computer comes back up, get to another term/shell and type ifconfig
it should list eth0 device with an
inet addr (your IP given by router)
and so as long as your ISP uses DHCP setup everything for DHCP anfd you will be on the net in 30 minutes.
