Knoppix-STD and Orinoco A/B card not working
 

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop, I recently purchased a Proxim Orinoco A/B Wireless card. I use Knoppix-STD and also have SuSE 9 pro on the system. When I boot into Knoppix-STD, the cardmgr sees the card but whenever I try to configure it, it doesnt work, wlcardconfig says it doesnt detect a wireless card. I get orinoco_cs.o not owned by root when I dmesg. I have no clue what the heck could be going on any help?
