Kismet & Airsnort using Ti (Acx100) chipset
hi,
I've got a DWL-520+ wireless card running on Redhat.
However, i cant seem to get Kismet or Airsort running with the card.
I've installed the programs properly, just im not sure what configs i need to use with the chipset on the card (Ti acx100)
Has anyone ever had it working?
Thanks

Yep, here's the thing:
It just may be that your kismet is expecting the device to be eth0, while the "default" device for the acx100 driver is "wlan0", what to do?, start kismet as root from a console like this: "kismet -c orinoco,wlan0,orinoco", once kismet get's going, airsnort works also, although, really, why bother with snort, kismet is very informational.
