Distribution: Still deciding - presently just got hold of Suse 9.1. Intending to get Slackware 10.1

KInternet cant work after shutdown!
Hi
I had accidentally shut down the Suse 9.3 without disconnecting the WLAN using the KInternet. Upon restarting, I cant seem to connect to internet anymore using the KInternet!
Care to explain to me the steps how to recover the connection, please?
