I'm trying to get my wusb54gs usb wireless adapter to work.. I have the drivers installed correctly with ndiswrapper my problem is whenever I try to config the wlan0 connection with iwconfig nothing happens..

i can type
iwconfig wlan0 freq 2.462G and then type iwconfig wlan0 and the channel is still 0

same with

iwconfig wlan0 channel 11

Still same old 0's in iwconfig wlan0

I know its setup with ndiswrapper cause in the conf it shows ndiswrapper as wlan0's module.

Any ideas if I need to point the wlan0 file to somehow be editable when i do iwconfig wlan0 commands?

after you type your iwconfig commands to they seem to execute ok , or do you get an error of any kind?
