OK, since you're well on your way to being Another Happy Slacker, the official way to do this is through a script. You can enter the commands into your /etc/rc.d/rc.local or you can set up a separate file. I wrote an explanation of how I do this in this thread
I wouldn't worry too much about the SSID broadcast. Turning off the broadcast doesnt' really increase your security all that much. |

Two reinstalls later.. I **wondered** why linux was sooooooooooooooooo slow. I then found my swap file was 0 bytes large.. I had forgotten to make a linus swap file.. D'OHHHHH.. It works 1000% better with 600MB swap file!! And I am back on with linux and the buffalo card.. TTFN. |
