ipw2200 with 2.6.14

Hi!

I just compiled 2.6.14 which has ipw2200 driver thrown in.

lsmod shows that ipw2200 driver has been loaded.

However, it is not eth1 or wlan0,

Which device does it default to?

Laptop powered by Slackware 10.2

You might try looking at the output of the "/sbin/ifconfig -a" command, to see what interface name is present.

Or run
Code:
modinfo ipw2200
to see what options that presents to you.

I have checked out the Docs in the kernel.

The ipw2200 driver in 2.6.14 is version 1.0.0 released in 31 Jan 2005.

The driver in http://ipw2200.sf.net is newer!

Rolling back the 2.6.14 intergrated driver. Hopefully, the 2.6.14 point releases would catch up on ipw2200 driver.
