ipw2200 - Unable to obtain IP address from Wireless Access point.
 
Hi,

I am using Redhat AS4 update 4 on Dell D820 Laptop.
Kernel Version - 2.6.9-42.EL

Demsg output

root@tg ~]# dmesg|grep ipw
ipw2200: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 Network Driver, git-1.0.10
ipw2200: Copyright(c) 2003-2005 Intel Corporation
ipw2200: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection

When i issue the command

ifup eth1

I get something like

obtaining IP address for eth1 and it sits there foreever.

Can someone help me to resolve this.

Can someone help me to resolve this.
