ipw2200 and buffalo wyr-g54 wireless router network detected but no signal

Hi,

I have a new wireless router with broadband connection which I set up successfully yesterday, using wep encryption. However, today it simply doesn't work. The network is detected but there is no signal at all and I am sitting next to it. Under windows it is just fine.

Router model: Buffalo wyr-g54.
Wireless device driver: ipw2200 (bg)
Distro: Fedora 3.
Using kwifimanager, RH network tools and iwconfig and ifup...

Googling and searching in the forum hasn't been very helpful. Any clues? And where shall I start from for fixing it?

Cheers!

Cheers, I resolved the issue... However, I still do not know how to check for signal strength in the list of available networks, but I guess this can be another post.

You can find the signal strengths with iwlist:
iwlist scan
