iPAQ wireless connection to an Access Point

hello.

I consider myself new with linux environment, although I worked with it since February 2003. I have a problem setting up my iPAQ as a wireless client of an 802.11b-based access point. I have successfully configured my desktop PC as an access point under Linux. My next task is to configure my iPAQ as a client (also under Linux). As what I have read, Opie bootstrap image supports wireless connection so I quickly ported this image to my iPAQ. During the porting process, I got no problem until when it's time for me to configure it as wireless client. The reading material I used only show how to configure PPP, but I believe, this is not what I need. I look for other materials but I cant find one. I hope someone can help me with my problem. Thanks.

I used H3870 iPAQ and I got expansion pack too for the PC card.
