internet works, but...


i just recompiled my kernel, but now, my wirelss card is read as a normal ethernet card. iwconfig no longer works, but i can still access my internet. just a curios problem.

Does that not cause problems if you want to use WEP?

You may have failed to include the option "Wireless LAN (non-hamradio)" when you compiled. Do the make config step again and include this option.
