Intel Wifi 1000 BGN has a mind of it's own Not Working on Linux
Hi all,
i'm new to linux and i believe this something you hear everyday here,
but in my case i'm really new my knowledge in Linux not more than 5% yet
i'm planing to learn it even further more
however i'm having an issue with my wirless card,
i bought a new laptop with Intel Wifi 1000 BGN and it's not automaticaly detected on Linux as the rest of them, i'm using Ubuntu, i found couple soulutions on the internet and people are saying it's working so i felt good but the only problem that they're talking in codes or i believe they're too advanced, so i couldn't understand what they're saying,
the LAN is automatically detected but the wirless isn't and i couldn't find a driver on Manufacturer website,
so if anyone is experienced enough could help me, that would be much appreciated or at least explain to me what those people are saying since it's the same issue they were having and explain what i need to do in details
Thank you so much for replying i really appreciate it,
I'm using ubuntu 8.10 interpid for now work related thing " long story"
