Intel Anypoint 2 PC Card on Fedora 2
A few years ago I purchased an Intel Anypoint 2 PC card for my Dell Inspiron 4000 laptop. The original plan was to use the card for Windoze but later on I installed Linux on the machine. Through trial and error (and a lot of internet searching) I was able to get the card to work on Linux. I came across the wlan-ng packages and a simple hack for the wlan-ng.conf file which allowed the card to connect to my access point. Fast forward two years: Now I have upgraded to Fedora 2 on the same laptop and cannot get the **blasted** wireless card to work. Linux tells me that the wlan-ng module has problems and I'm unable to work around it.
Soooo...
Has anyone had success installing the Intel AnyPoint 2 PC card on Fedora 2? If so please enlighten me before I have to start depending on Windoze again.
