Unhappy I installed Mandrake 10.0 - cannot get a wireless internet connection !!!!

I have installed Mandrake 10.0 and I cannot get an internet connection using my wireless card - D-link - I would like to be able to connect anyway I can, even using a unsecure connection - any help with this is much appreciated. Thank You - Caine

you should install ndiswrapper or linuxant if your card's chipset is not supported by your kernel.

I installed the ndiswrapper and m;y card has been recognized, however i cannot change my essid uner the managed mode. But if you look at the forums you will probably find success stories for d-link cards. mine however is a mn 720 using a broadcom chipset.
