??????????????????????????????????
are you trying to install the Linux version of VB in Kali???? -- will not work out well
kali has networking DISABLED by default a vm in kali will have a hard time
so you DO ALREADY have the current Kali 1.? installed and RUNNING and Up to date
so then why install VB ?????
you install a Virtual Environment ON THE HOST MACHINE!!!!!!!
what is your host machine ?
please READ - and i do mean READ the install documentation
I already have given you the link to the page in the manual that extensively describes how to do that. Read it, I am not going to rewrite the manual here.
here is one problem arise when i connect wifi usb adapter, in usb port in cpu then its work only in computer not in virtual box workstation in that time it shown no usb device are connected. but when i choose in VB workstation realtek 802.11 then its connect to VB workstation and usb blinked green but no chipset no driver shown and working there, oviously when i type airmon-ng in terminal.. nothing is show there means chipset and driver, and when i type ifconfig command then wlan0 is not shown in terminal. my question is, is realtek
802.11 is related to my Tplink wn725n??? now what should i do ??
i just open the terminal and type lsusb command, here is the three output, Bus 001 Device 002:id 80ee:
0021 Virtualbox usb tablet, second is Bus 001 Device 001:id 1d6b:0001 linux foundation 1.1 root hub
and third and last one is bus 002 Device 001:id 1d6b:0002 linux foundation 2.0 root hub... i have several usb port, 4 in back and two in front..now problem is when i connect wifi adapter to my usb
front port not in back side port in cpu, now wifi adapter is running properly. my wifi adapter blinking green.now when i click kali linux right side down usb icon it says no usb devices are attached.but it shows realtek 802.11n nic, now when i select that particular option(realtek 802.11n nic)then automatically my wifi adapter stop working no any green light blink in adapter, but the icon of usb of kali linux is still blinking. please tell me what is the next step and solution. thank you
one thing i forget to tell you that when i try to connect realtek 802.11n nic it shows VM Error
it says "failed to attach the usb device realtek 802.11n nic (my usb device means wifi adapter is stop working)to the virtual machine babi kali linux, usb device realtek 802.11n nic with uuid {f3baee 12-814e-4347-b933-2f90225103f1} is busy with a previous request.please try again later"
now my wifi adapter is stop workingand also not blinking... please guide me and right side corner usb responding very latelymeans taking too long time for blink... thanks please help.....
If the VM fails to attach the USB device to the guest OS then of course the guest OS can't see the device. That is basic knowledge that anyone working in IT should have.
Anyways, it seems that Windows and your VM are battling over who owns that device. Since I don't have Windows I can't help with that, sorry.
