HP ZE5375us Fodora 1.0 wireless error

I get the following error

"

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06)
SET failed on device eth1; Invalid argument
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04)
SET failed on device eth1; Operation not supported
Error for wireless request "Set Encode"(8B2A)
SET failed on device eth1; Invalid argument

Cannot get driver information: operation not supported

"

this is after during the boot up it reconizes the device, but doesn't allow it to get an ip for the same reasons stated.

Thanks ahead for any help/input

Rick

Everytime i boot it tells me that the hardware has been removed from the system and that the same device has been added??? whats up with that??

It shouldn't not be able to set a mode. You left out some of the important parts:

1. What's the wireless card?

2. What driver is it loading? (/sbin/lsmod)

3. What does "dmesg" say around that shot at card load?

Cheers,

Finegan

1) the wireless card is the one that comes builtin i did a search and can only come up with the driver to use.

2) When i open up that file i get a whole bunch of characters but don't see any words or anything.

3) when i use the "dmesg", it comes up with Orinoco/Prism2 PCI, orinoco.c 0.13d, hermes.c, orinoco_pci.c 0.13d.

again thanks for all your help,

Rick
