Question How can I identify which wireless adapter is connected?

I now have problem with plenty :-) I have two wireless adapters connected of which I am pretty sure only one is connecting to my secured (WEP) network. I have a DLink (DWL-G120) and a PCI wireless adapter [Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88w8335 [Libertas] 802.11b/g Wireless] card. I am running 32 bit Ubuntu 6.06

After considerable effort and 2 reinstalls I now have wireless network connectivitiy but can't for the life of me identify which adapter is the cause of my connection. How can I identify which wireless adapter is connected?

Type in "sudo ifconfig -a" into the console. This will show the configuration of all of your network interfaces. The ones that are active will have detailed information regarding their connectivity. You can also try "sudo iwconfig -a" to get additional wireless info.
