Help with M$ MN-510 USB Wireless Adapter

I've been unable to get my Microsoft MN-510 USB adapter to work under Ubuntu (v 5.10) as of yet. This card appears to have a Pegasus 2.x/3 chipset.

I've looked at the tickets that exist thus far (both here and in the Ubuntu community forums), and there seem to be two recommendations: To install using Windows .inf and .sys files with the ndiswrapper, or to use the Linux-wlan-ng drivers.

Which way should I go with this, if I'm looking for stability? Also, would anyone have a good writeup (or wouldn't mind putting together one) on how to do this for a newbie?

I'm a bit disappointed actually. SUSE 10 found the card without a hitch during installation and set it up. I switched to Ubuntu because I'm going to make my daughter's machine an Edubuntu machine shortly (I wanted to keep us both on the same distro). After hearing all of the rave reviews on Ubuntu, I kinda expected it to be just as good as SUSE at this sort of thing.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Check our Tutorials section, there are 2 or 3 tutorials in there on setting up the 510. Link to section is at the top of every page and in the Main Menu (right hand side of screen, top menu box).
