I am using ubuntu gutsy gibbon on my laptop.
I've been enjoying wireless connection until I connected my laptop to an internet cable. Since then, the laptop has not been detecting wireless connections.
I've checked and my "firmware for Broadcom 43xx chipset family" is "in-use".
I've tried connecting to my office's wireless connection countless times and I am sure that the WEP key I have been entering is correct, but to no avail. The laptop is also unable to detect other wi-fi signals.
I also tried the ff: dialogue in the terminal:
erika@erika-laptop:~$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.

I don't know what to do next. Please advise.
