Download

http://www.cat.pdx.edu/~baera/redhat...OSTAP.i686.rpm

Log in as root, and type

rpm -ivh kernel-2.4.20-13.9.HOSTAP.i686.rpm

Restart, and now your drivers is installed.

did it but did not work

hi,

i did what u said. guess it just built me a new kernel. i could see that in the boot loader. what drivers do i get with this new kernel? Because, my original kernel was detecting USB mouse and keyboard. It was showing me the relevant msgs when booting. so does this new kernel give me the drivers for my new USB adaptor. if it does its still not working and where do i check if new drivers are loaded or not? or are there any changes in the config files that i should do?

Thanx.

try

dmesg | grep -i eth

and see if your nic has been registred.

i did it but it did not give any result. anyways in my earlier kernel i had to rpm my nic drivers. i understand if this doesn't work. am i supposed to get the drivers syntax usb wireless adaptor with the new kernel i downloaded?
