Getting connected with a ASUS USB, Philips Wireless Base station running Suse 10.1

Completely new to Linux. Seen some forums and then decided to install Suse 10.1 with Gnome

Installation went fine only getting to the net is not that Plug and Play.

Some details:
ASUS USB Wireless Network adapter
Locatie 0 (802.11g WLAN Drive)
Other network adapters working properly in the 'second boot option' ;) are 3Com 3C920B-EMB Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller and NVIDIA nForce MP Networking Adapter.
Philips Wireless Base station
Model CPWBS154/18
It is an ADSL connection.

Alright, here we go, I hope i'll understand your tips. Merry X-mas for you all!

PS: What is the easiest way yo read your tips in the linux boot? I was thinking about printing them as a PDF and then to open them there. Other suggestions are welcome but if they are longer then 2 lines probably i better stick to my first idea cause getting on the net is still my first concern.
