gather information from the driver of my wireless card

Hello,

Does anyone know how to communicate with the driver of a wireless card?
Indeed, I would like to be alerted (or know a way to check) when there are new outgoing packets that the kernel wants to send over the air.
I'm using iwlwifi drivers for INTEL® WiFi Link 5100 AGN card.

Thanks,
Mike
