fussy connection with wifi on Ubuntu Gutsy

I can't figure out what's wrong with my wifi...

I just recently got it working with bcm-wfcutter from the Ubuntu repositories, and I usually have to use dhclient to get my connection up.
the strange thing is that I need to reboot my computer every time I want to use my wifi[my computer stays on most of the time], otherwise dhclient won't be able to connect me. The error message it gives is something along the lines of "No working leases - sleeping."

But then I reboot, and all is well.

I have all my settings correctly adjusted with iwconfig, as well as Ubuntu's own networking apps. My reception is always good too.

Can anybody figure out what's wrong??

I have had issues in the past with losing wireless connection when the computer goes into hibernation or sleep mode. I can't solve your actual problem, but as an alternative to rebooting, you can try just shutting down the interface and starting it back up again with ifdown and ifup (as root). That would be less hassle than rebooting.
