Code:
iwlist wlan0 scanning
assuming your wireless card is wlan0, probably need to be root.

Hi priller,

Thats not the prob. My network is ok.

What i need is an software like the windows one. A software that searches networks arround you.
Do you know any software that does that?

v!ruz, you're probably looking for a GUI based network scanner - the command priller gives you prints out a list in a terminal window

Check into adding a panel applet in Gnome, there may be one that installs with FC4. If not, there may be one in the System menu for network devices/networking.

If you're at a shell prompt or open a terminal window, if you type in the command priller gave you (assuming your device is wlan0), you'll get a quick and dirty list of nearby networks.
