Fedora Core 1, Ndiswrapper, and Broadcom wireless card...
Alright, heres the deal. I have a Dell TrueMobile 1400 Dual Band WLAN Mini-PCI card. I installed ndiswrapper-0.10.tar.gz and went through all of those steps and when I run ndiswrapper -l i get bcmw15a present. I also ran modprobe ndiswrapper. When I do iwconfig and ifconfig both have my wlan0 with all the information it needs. I had trouble getting it to show up as a Device when I went to New network connection but after adding ifcgf-wlan0 in /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices it showed up. So then I made my wireless connection using ndiswrapper(wlan0) and that all worked but when I click activate it says "Cannot get driver information: No such device" and then it also says something about trying to get the IP address for wlan0... and hangs. Any Ideas??? :Pengy:

Got It
Turns out it says it can't find the driver no such device, it does and it lets me connect. Must be because of using ndiswrapper it doesn't recognize it as a device but it still works.

Thanks for all who took the time to read this post and ponder an answer.
