Does Netgear WG111v2 / Broadcom BC94318MPG have monitor mode

I have a Broadcom BC94318MPG minipci and a Netgear WG111v2. I'm wondering if they have monitor mode? If so how can I enable it. Currently I don't have linux install and I am open to any suggestions to the best distro for wifi internet. I really want monitor mode to test my wifi network. I am looking for a distro which would make the installation of the mode simple because I am a novice when it comes to Linux.

Thanks for your time.

Netgear one should work using prism54 module. Check out prism54.org for info. It can be used in monitor mode.

As for the broadcom it don't know there are a few broadcom modules under linux but not sure of thier support for monitor mode. If it is like many then it uses ndiswrapper which uses the windows inf driver to interface with it. Ndiswrapper does not support monitor mode.
