Allright, every time I boot linux I have no wireless connection. When I enter "dhcpcd -d wlan0" I get the response
**** dhcpcd: already running
**** dhcpcd: if not then delete /var/run//dhcpcd-wlan0.pid file
So I do just that--I delete that file then run "dhcpcd -d wlan0" again and my wireless connects instantly. And I have to do this every time I reboot. Any ideas? I really know nothing about linux.
This may be due to the position it is located in the boot loader. This page may help you sort it out a little better and understand what's going on. Another option is to try the alternative, dhclient to get your IP lease.

Chris
