DHCP failure with crux

Hi,

I have set up a new crux installation, and now i am trying to fix small issues. One of the things that annoyed a good deal is the wireless networking. It's really cool that madwifi is supported from the very beginning, but I just couldn't get the wireless to work.

I have an Apple Airport (the graphite one, if I'm not mistaken) with a DHCP on, using WEP encryption and MAC address filtering. I also use a macbook, which works very smoothly. On the exact same network with the exact same laptop (the one that has crux installed now) I have been using Debian sid without any problems.

I double, even tripple checked the essid, and password, and they are right values. Iwconfig is set up properly, but the computer just won't get an IP address via dhcpcd and I am yet to connect to the airport.

Also interesting I have also installed Windows 2000 on the same laptop (dual boot) and from windows i can smoothly connect to the Airport.

What caught my attention is, there is now an interface called "wifi0" which didnt exist when i was using Debian. My wireless card is set up as "ath0" and whenever I run "ifconfig ath0 up" somehow "wifi0" gets activated as well, even though iwconfig tells me that "wifi0 has no wireless extentions". What's further interesting is that wifi0 and ath0 seem to have the same MAC address, with the only difference that wifi0 has 10x more "00" blocks in the end of the MAC address.

Anybody has any idea?
