I previously posted in "networking" but received no replies. This looks like a better forum since it is "wireless". Below is my previous post. Any help is appreciated....


I have read some threads and have found that I need to download Ndiswrapper. At least I think I do?
How do I get the Linksys windows driver on the machine that Ndiswrapper will use. Do I simply drag it to the desktop somewhere and then doubleclick it to run it? Thanks for any help! I'll be reading more on the ndiswrapper wiki page as well to get more info soon. I'm truly new and am eager to learn!

If i'm not giving enough info let me know!

You need ndiswrapper and your windows drivers. You should visit the ndiswrapper page at sourceforge.net (Here) and read carefully all of the info.

I was a total newbie not so long ago, but have now configured the wireless card on several machines with ndiswrapper. Read all of the guides carefully, and you'll get there. If you have specific problems when following the instructions, then post back here what problems you have had.
