Considering 802.11g network - suggestions?

Hi all
I am looking into wireless networks and have decided that the 802.11g is my solution. Before I go about buying the hardware, what would you suggest would be the best for my Mandrake 10.1 Official? Thanks in advance.

Are you going to be using a laptop or a desktop? Will you need to use kismet (program that will allow you to find access points)? What are you going to be using the card for? If all you need is internet access I would check out Mandrake hardware compatibility page.

I will be using desktops only. And I have never heard of kismet - it will be a home network so I wouldn't think I would need to find access points. And it will be just TCP/IP for web browsing and gaming.
