Arrow Connect to ISP network through new wireless router Dlink WBR 1310

I guys,
I know you will help me out in this. I am having internet connection form a Sify Broadband. They have provided me a LAN cable which I connect directly to my laptops LAN port and with below settings it works fine.

my IP 10 17 119 15
Subnet mask 255 255 255 0
default gateway 10 17 119 1

DNs 202 144 95 4
Alternate DNS 202 144 66 6

I need to login with their application to connect to internet.

This settings work fine. But I want to add a wireless router for my home network. So i can enjoy mobility of the laptop.

i am having Dlink WBR 1310. I tried so many things but was not able to ping 10 17 119 1 through router.

PS. NO WAN cable is here.

Can you help me with the settings for this router?
Let me know If i need to post more information.

I really appreciate your help in this. Thanks a lot.

Regards,
jay

plug the LAN cable given by sify people to your wireless router WAN port. Insert all your settings IP, netmask, gateway, DNS in your router.

Goto pppoE settings and insert your login and password.

You need to setup your own LAN with that wireless router maybe you can use 192.168.1.x series.

You should be able to connect to internet via wireless router.
