combining bus and start topology WLAN

ok, i have a WLAN of windows machines and i would like to add a slackware 9.0 box to this. the problem is i dont have another wireless adapter so i had the idea to direct connect my slack box to a win98 box and have them share the wireless adapter. i have no idea how to go about this and i havent found any documentation online. i am using microsoft wireless home networking and the users manual does mention that it is compatible with linux but doesnt explain how.
