Question can anyone post their /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-wlan0?

Please ignore my previous post. I now realize that the problem lies somewhere within this script. Please also explain what your variables mean. Thanks in advance.

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-wlan0
# wireless config file

DEVICE=wlan0 # the name of the device, could ath0, eth1, etc..
BOOTPROTO=dhcp #what happens when the device boots,
HWADDR=##:##:##:##:##:## # hte mac address of your card, shown using $iwconfig
ONBOOT=no # is the device active on boot?
TYPE=wireless
ESSID=WIRELESS #important!! this should be the ESSId of YOUR access point, router
USERCTL=no
PEERDNS=no
IPV6INIT=no #does the device use ipv6

this may or may not work for you, i have seen different configurations.#

Hope that helps
