Can't make a link with my router.

I have a Hawking Wireless g card setup in FC4 with ndiswrapper. My computer recognizes the card fine, but not the router. Maybe I'm missing some iwconfig commands to connect.

I've tried the following to try to connect:

iwconfig key sassword (with my key)
iwconfig rate 54M
iwconfig essid restricted polly (the name of my network)

make sure you use quotes around an essid that contains spaces.

Well, I tried that too and it didn't work. I put restricted in there just to see what it did; there was something about it in the man page for iwconfig.

Try it:
Code:
iwconfig rate auto
When u do iwconfig rate 54M it forces to connect as 54M, and if it isn't happens u can't connect in your access point.
