Buffalo USB wifi adapter doesn't work after reboot from OSX

I have a Buffalo Wifi-N USB adapter which works great in Ubuntu, except after rebooting from OSX. If I do that, it won't work until I unplug it and plug it in again. Any ideas what might be causing this behavior?

Reboot out of OSX into linux, and before you "reset" the adapter, show your output of dmesg and /var/log/messages. Use pastebin if you have to, since your messages file is going to be big. I recommend trying to find the timeframe when you boot up, and copy it from there.

Here is the log from dmesg: http://pastebin.com/zYiCXGYU. It doesn't go back to the beginning of time because my terminal will only show just so many lines.

Also, I have found that this also happens when I reboot from OSX into Windows 7.
