Buffalo G54 PCMCIA Wireless LAN card under Mandrake 9.2
I've got a Compaq nx9005 laptop which is dual boot (Madrake 9.2 and Win XP), and I bought it about a year ago. At the time, I also bought a Buffalo G54 wireless PCMCIA card (AirStation WLI-CB-G54A), but I've only just got round to trying to make it work under Linux (hasn't been much call for me using it at all but I tested it initially under Windows to make sure it worked). I remember at the time that one of the reasons I decided to buy it was because there was a link from the Buffalo website to a driver which should work for it, though they didn't officially support the driver. Now I can no longer find the link anywhere - not even a search on Yahoo seems to throw up anything very useful. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, either where I can download this driver from or if there is some other suitable alternative?
Thanks in advance, Jenn |
