Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN

Ok, well i have tried just about everything i have tried using ndiswrapper(does not seem to work). Anyways i am using ubuntu and i installed ndiswrapper(yes the right way) and i install the bcmwl5.inf it says the hardware and driver are present. I write the modprobe with no problems and load the modprobe with no problems. The only thing is when i type "iwconfig wlan0" it says "-No such devices found"
i have a hp dv8000t with a Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN(onboard-_-) and i cant get it to work at all so i mean if someone could be kind and lend me a hand it will be very much appreciated. my email is ishimaru1002@gmail.com(that is my msn too) yahoo=d34daliens@yahoo.com
aim=ishimaru1002@aol.com. Umm please someone i mean i don't like to ask so much but i mean i really like linux and i want to learn it but i mean this whole stupid broadcom problems are making me go crazy so if someone could like explain how-to get it working in details i mean like i said i did everything it just doesn't seem to work for some reason.

Ishimaru.

p.s thank for your time and effort.

Do you have a file /etc/network/interfaces?
If you do, please post it here.

When you loaded the .inf file, did you have the .sys file in the same directory?

Maybe you can find the solution to your problem here:

Does new Linux bcm43xx driver for Broadcom wireless cards work on a HP ze4805us?
