Olah,

Have some sort of the same problem.
Running Ubuntu 9.10 on an HP 6220 laptop.
I am using wicd. And have a broadcom wireless onboard thingy.

The problem is that the wireless interface (seen as a lan interface btw) changes randomly when booting from eth1 to eth2 and visa versa.
Any suggestions on how to nail the succer down to eth1 or what ever.
