Best (compatiable) wireless card(s)??

I am fairly new to Linux and I am about to buy a wireless card for my laptop, which will house Fedora C3.

I have been all over the Net and the HCL on this site, and just wanted one last consultation before I buy a card.

I would appreciate any suggestions from people who have good, consistent results from a particular brand/model.

Thanks

Question PCI wireless card

Sorry that I cannot answer your question. The reason is I have one very similar to it. I also have Fedora Core 3 on my computer but it is a desktop. What is going to be the most compatible wireless card that I can get for it. I have a d-link DWL-G510 but there seems to be a problem locating drivers for it (aka they exist not). I would be an extremely happy and thankful person if anyone could tell me what to do/buy/download...

DWL-650 Hoping to save you a ton of .....

DWL-650 Hoping to save you a ton of heart ach... I faught with a couple cards but a buddy said you should use the old D-Link DWL-650 it always works .... Sure enough it instantly configures and works on Redhat 9 slackware and SUSE 9.x

The other cards are nice but nearly all of them are a bad time to configure this one works on nearly everthing and its cheap.. if you can find it
