Automatic switching between LAN and WLAN

Hi,
I've successfully set up my integrated Intel 2200BG based WLAN adapter using the ipw2200 driver (ipw2200.sf.net), and the standard integrated LAN adapter.
The LAN comes up as eth0, and the WLAN as eth1. This works well if I use LAN, but to be able to use WLAN I have to open konsole, "ifdown eth0", and "/etc/init.d/network restart eth1".
I think the system should handle this part automatically. Tried to enable routing, but it didn't help. Some way to set this up?

Also tried renaming the WLAN from eth1 to wlan0 by adding entries in ifrename.conf, but when booting the WLAN still comes up as eth1. "/etc/init.d/network restart" actually renames the WLAN to wlan0, but I don't want to do that... Left that part for now, but any help here would be appreciated too, but it works without it...

Thanks in advance,
§:) Christer Michaelsen
