to expand on that. it may well be transparent to a user. but what is the code behind it causing it to be transparent to the user?

Like the person that just puts the key into a slot turns the key and the engine automatically starts. That person that turns the key never even thinks how that takes place. but the ones that designed it to do that know there is more then meets the eye going on there to get that to work.
