ASUS WL-100g

Hello,

I have a laptop with an ASUS WL-100g PCMCIA card (broadcom chipset). I currently work on Mandrake 10.1.

I have installed driverloader (Linuxant) and it HAS worked (the green link light went on). But after a reboot it isn't working anymore. The green link light isn't going on anymore, and at startup I get a FAIL at eth0 (ethernet) and et2 (wireless).

Does anybody have a clue what is wrong here? And if you think that the ASUS card totally sucks, then which card should I buy, that is fully compliant with Linux OS in general?

Thanks.

Rick.

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net

That might help you. There's also a list of known working cards and chipsets there. Broadcom is on the list.
