Well, I have a TP-Link wn321g v4 usb wireless adapter (Ralink 2070), which works fine in Ubuntu 10.10.. But when I try to use it with airodump to search for networks, it just goes on and on, but never finds anything. I know all the networks are there - two of which are in my house.

I used airmon to put the adapter into monitoring mode beforehand, and it all seems to move along ok, until I get to airodump.
I am a newbie to both Linux and aircrack, but I searched all the forums and couldn't find anything that was any help to me.

Can someone please help me out?

You would need to go over to the aircrack forums and ask that....
