Airnet AWU154 Wireless USB key drivers/installation
 

I just moved into an apartment which provides free wireless internet access. Since I'm so used to having cable modems and CAT-5 lines everywhere, I don't actually own a wireless card (except for the built in one for my laptop, which I'm posting this message from). So, I had a cheapo one from newegg overnighted so I could get my Debian router back online and get my computers back on the network.

My only problem is, I've never actually had to configure a network card before, let alone a USB one, Debian has always done it for me.

Does anyone have any hints on how to install the Airnet AWU154? I looked on their site for linux drivers, but didn't see any. Are there any sort of generic wireless usb drivers that I can install? Or do I just need buy a different card (or write the drivers myself, if it's not too complicated)?

I don't know about generic drivers, but there is a utility called 'ndiswrapper' which allows Windows Wireless Drivers to function under linux by creating the Windows API environment. Should be available as an apt-get package in Debain.
