Good day,

I recently got an Acer Travelmate 2420 series laptop, I initially tried a few distro's of linux with it but could only get the NDISwrapper to work properly under Mandriva Club edition which is fine as I realy like my mandriva. However the broadcom wireles card's antennae does not seem to be switching on when i move the slider over. I can see the wlan0 device with correct MAC address and ndiswrapper reports driver is fine and hardware is present. Everything seems to be working fine I just cannot get the anennae on. Can anyone help please.

Never mind everyone I got it's working fine. I got my problem i feel like an idiot but I kept mispelling the SSID so it was not associating with the AP. Silly me.
