802.11g wireless cards

Hi,
I am looking for any suggestions on purchasing a 802.11g wireless pci card for my linux server. I am looking into investing in a 802.11g access point and pci card so I can put my server downstairs and not having to worry about running a ethernet cable all the way downstairs and into a closet where I plan on putting the server. It generates too much heat and the fans get loud when everything is quiet at night, and it bothers my girlfriend and I. I also plan on eventually switching all of our computers to wireless and getting rid of all the cables once I have sufficient funds. We have 5 computers and 3 laptops in our apartment and you can imagine how much wiring is running along the walls. Anyway, I've been searching the net and found that many vendors don't have linux drivers for their 802.11 g cards yet. Of course I know that 802.11g is a newcomer to the mainstream market, but do you guys no of any manufacturers that have linux drivers for any of their 802.11g cards or of any open source drivers that have been written for any cards? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thankyou.
