802.11G Desktop Wifi Card Suggestions

I bought a WMP54G and the card itself is defective so while I'm waiting for it to be returned to linksys and all that wonderful stuff, I'm looking for decent cards that don't require ndiswrapper. Are there any suggestions for cards and revisions? (How do you even tell the revision from looking at the box?)

Thanks,
f.

Get cards based on the broadcom chipset. Apparently kernel 2.6.17 has a Linux driver for broadcom wireless chipsets.

Or the intel ipw2200 series which has a correct driver, provided by intel and didn't need a reverse engeneering.
A friend has the ralink 2500, he's very happy with it. A pcmcia card for less than 30 euros that has everything, even packet injection.

This is true, but only for the BCM43xx chipsets. Broadcom have their own Linux drivers for BCM57xx and BCM4401 chipsets.
