what is debootstrap and how to use it
Hello,
i installed linux debian 6.0.5 using debootstarp , i can chroot to it and use as a separate os , but i cannot understand how does it work.. here is some of my question. (for info host linux is linux mint 13) 1) when i chroot to debian , uname -a shows linux mint. why? . there is a web site that guide me to install kernel and bootloader for debian !!!!????? 2) i installed a service on debian , i can use it now , but when i exit from debian , that service is still running,,,!!!!????? 3) how much memory and cpu is using ? ... .. . could u PLZ tell me how it runs , i mean when i use chroot , it show me the shell and it really change to other os , without affecting host OS , less cpu usage ...???!!! |
