Uh - you've got a VMWare ESXi server, and you're trying to install a guest OS via PXE?

What version of ESXi?
What guest OS?
Specifically what have you tried?
What errors are you getting/problems are you encountering?

Please try to give a bit more information...

I have got a tftp server setup for pxeboot.

OK -

Q: So you've got an .iso image of VMWare ESXi Server 4.0, correct?

Q: And you've also configured your Linux host as a PXE server, correct?

Q: Have you mounted your .iso file as a loopback filesystem, per this link:
Quote:

http://www.cyclelicio.us/2009/03/how...esxi-from.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loop_device

mkdir /mnt/esxiso
mount -o loop ~/esxi-sandbox/esxi-installable.iso /mnt/esxiso
Q: Have you followed the rest of instructions to copy the relevant files from your .iso to your PXE "sandbox"?

Q: Are *any* files being copied over from the PXE/TFTP server?

Q: What specific error messages are you gettinging?

Please provide as many details as you can.
